"I use watercolors as a poetic expression of my thoughts and feelings as I move through the stages of my days, my time and my life. Some of my work is an instantaneous reaction to a moment of light in the garden or a translucent hour by the ocean, and some of it is a long, thoughtful reaction to a book, a road traveled, or a person chanced upon."

Nina Zak Laddon has been involved in the arts both as an educator and as an artist. She is a resident of Redondo Beach, California. She is the founder of the Redondo Beach Art Group, as well as a member of the South Bay Watercolor Society and the Artists' Open Group of the Palos Verdes Art Center.
